Coupe Icare Blanche

Un petit CR de la Coupe Icare Blanche :
Du beau temps sur quasiment les trois jours, avec du vent assez fort mais qui heureusement n'a pas provoqué -trop- de turbulences, de la neige à gogo surtout vu la hauteur de Saint Hil'... Une ambiance super sympa grâce à l'organisation et aux nombreux bénévoles (qui ont préparé des paniers repas pour midi plus que corrects), un concours de déguisement réussi. 36 pilotes au total, sans compter les initiations organisées par la Speedriding School qui ont vu leurs rangs complets dès 8h 1/2 du mat'... alors qu'il y avait encore beaucoup de demandeurs.

En tout, quatre manches, avec deux slaloms classiques, une manche en duels parallèles, et une manche déguisée.
Quelques déguisements qui resteront dans les mémoires : Cyril Planton et sa planche à voile, Mika Régnier et sa luge, Sabine Duvivier déguisée en Nonoss avec le chien qui court derrière (et même devant, avec une vitesse impressionnante !) , la bande de mousquetaires, le Tour de France et la seringue d'EPO... et les médecins qui suivent le Tour :)

A bit of review on the White Icarus Cup :
Blue skies on almost three days, with strong north winds that didn't provoke -too much- aerological problems, snow in huge quantities (when you think about Saint HIlaire's height...)
Thanks to the organisation and the numerous voluntary workers (who prepared good sandwiches for lunch), the atmosphere was really good on the event. We were 36 pilots, without counting the beginners who went to the courses organized by Speedriding School - the courses' inscriptions were complete at 8 h and a half, while many demands were still issued to enter the courses.

Four rounds, including two classical slaloms, a parallel duel and a costumed round were done.
Some costumes that will linger in memories : Cyril Planton and his windsurf, Mika Régnier and his sled, Sabine Duvivier disguised in Bone with the dog running after (and even before her, with an impressive speed !), the Mousquetaires, the Tour de France and its EPO syringe and the medics that follows...
